Peter Schiff: El colapso del dólar es inevitable

Peter Schiff, firme seguidor de la escuela austriaca de economía y presidente de Euro Pacific Precious Metals, explica en un nuevo video blog publicado el pasado 1 de marzo, porqué el presidente de la Reserva Federal Ben Bernanke ha engañado y no cuenta con una estrategia de salida en respuesta a sus masivos estimulos monetarios y aplicará más expansión cuantitativa QE .
Recientemente el presidente del banco central estadounidense insto al Congreso de su país a reemplazar los según el “agudos recortes del gasto”, por políticas que reduzcan el déficit de “manera más gradual”, asegurando que retirar demasiado pronto las agresivas medidas de política monetaria podría representar un riesgo real de dañar la todavía frágil recuperación económica estadounidense.
Schiff advierte que si los recortes se aplazan para un futuro, nunca se llevaran a cabo, porque según el experto no se puede confiar en el Congreso para estos asuntos, puesto que siempre aplazan sus decisiones.
Asimismo señala que en realidad los recortes son insuficientes y que contrariamente a lo que Bernanke advertía ante el Congreso, que reducir ampliamente los gastos gubernamentales frenaría la economía, esta se vería liberada.
“Un aumento prematuro de los tipos de interés provocaría un cortocircuito de la recuperación económica que, irónicamente, podría llevar a un período aún más largo de tipos de interés rebajados”, señaló Bernanke.
El presidente de la Reserva Federal subrayó que los programas de estímulos monetarios como el QE simplemente fueron la respuesta a las condiciones económicas, más que un intento de mantener artificialmente bajos los tipos para inflar los precios de los activos.
Peter Schiff asegura que la Reserva Federal será incapaz de detener la impresión de dinero, ya que ha creado una economía insostenible absolutamente dependiente de la deuda. La única estrategia de salida será la enorme inflación que la Fed ha creado y el consiguiente colapso del dólar .
Peter Schiff afirma que a la mayoría de los estadounidenses les pillará por sorpresa cuando los precios empiecen a subir y desearán haber comprado metales preciosos para proteger el valor de sus ahorros. “Ahora es el momento de comprar, si no lo ha hecho ya durante la reciente corrección de los precios del oro y de la plata “, proclama el experto.

Investing 1-5% in precious metals such as silver or gold may also prove to be quite prudent. You can invest in CEF or GLD if you don't want the physical metal.
